After my Korean drama craze, I have shifted momentarily to watch Japanese and Taiwanese dramas :) Watched Mr Brain in a day and was nearly brain dead :S When Daddy came to pick me and Junyi home after prom, I was telling Junyi about the drama and shocked that Junyi doesn't know who Takuya Kimura is. Named her a few of his dramas like Long Vacation, Love Generation, Engine, Pride, Good Luck and Change. But she only heard of his name in chinese. Junyi, this is the guy I was talking about:





Dunno wad other Taiwanese dramas are nice to watch. All else didn't seem appealing to me~
Watched the first 6 episodes of a new show by Xiao Zhu (Peiming! Xiao Zhu's new show!) and Rainie Yang called Hi My Sweetheart (海派甜心). Ep 7's this Sunday. Sigh. The show's funny but the hairstyle for the males are a bit.. Eeyer. Especially Lee Wei's.. his is ZOMG. Only a 3 second shadow of him in high school that hairstyle's nice.


I'm starting to worry about the trip to Balai again. :S Remember I said my auntie and her son will accompany us there? Now they won't be going with us. Because Dua Pek suffered a mild stroke and extra care has been requested so Dua Um and Uncle (actually my cousin but due to the vast difference in age~ uncle) will be staying in Singapore. Which means Daddy Mummy and I will be going with total strangers. O.O

Quite sad, Dua Pek doesn't remember me at all when I visited him. Didn't watch the fireworks at Vivo and visited him at TTSH. Daddy drove Mummy and I there so in the car I was rehearsing what I would say to Dua Pek in dialect.

When I was young Daddy's side of the family was super rich. Dua Pek would drive me around in his Mercedez and if I'm obedient, he'll let me sit on his lap while he drove. For the past Chinese New Years since I can remember, he'll ask if I remember tugging at his pants with one hand and pointing at his car with the other saying "Dua Pek wa su ka zey le aye qia" (Dua Pek I like sitting in your car). Then he'll keep comparing my height as a toddler and during CNY each year. Actually I don't remember I did such stuff and am shocked that as a toddler I can speak dialect but I saw a photo of me sitting on his white Merz before so maybe I did like cars. But now he can't even recognise me. T^T

Dua Pek suffered a fall the same way as Gong Gong did. And also Ma Ma. But if you know my family's miracle story, you'll know that Ma Ma was expected not to survive past the next 48 hours but she survived for more than a year. Dua Pek haven't waited for me to graduate University and earn enough money to buy a Mercedez to bring him around yet. He cant just leave. I need to achieve those first.

Daddy's side of the family's really weird. The age gaps are seriously too far off. I'm the youngest in my generation so Dua Pek's grandchild is my "nephew" (cousin's son). He's supposed to call me Yi Yi since my rank in the hierarchy is higher but then Ma Ma gave me the family nickname Mei Mei and I'm younger than my nephew so instead of him being respectful to me being of higher rank, I must be respectful to him being older. WAHH. Such a weird and contradicting relationship. Forget it, we friend friend laa.

Aaah. I'm so confused I forgot about worrying for my trip. Molla Molla Mollaaa!!~~




Me likes Lee Seung Gi! After watching Shining Inheritance and a few episodes of 1D2N :) Am trying to find subbed episodes of Kang Shim Jang :S First ep's fully subbed and the main guests are Big Bang's GDragon and Seung Ri! Super funny to the max. Love them all. See next post for the Big Bang cuts ^^ MEL DONT XIN HUA NU FANG. CONTROL. hahahaa!
