Oct 2 2008 Eve of Didi's birthday (which is on History Paper day, Didi you poor thing!)
Reminded Juon to send Didi a sms to wish him and we discussed about sharing to get him a present after promos. Initially it was just us sharing the prezzie then Juon told me later on that Dabian would join us too.

Oct 8 2008 Wednesday
Since we three girls would be going, felt a bit bad to leave Mama out so asked Juon to ask him along too. Later that night, chatted online and got quite pissed he got this cannot-go-out-with-more-than-two-girls-at-a-time syndrome so msged Juon saying "Forget it, we three just go on our own, Emo fam girls' day out!"

Oct 9 2008 Thursday
Msged Didi asking if he mind going out with 3 girls since Mama attitude me and didnt wanna come and he was okay with it. So plan: meet girls at 2pm (According to Juon, Dabian had to go to the market with her Ah Ma) to shop for his present, wrap etc and meet Didi at 5pm to pass it to him. Suaned Mama online about his syndrome and even created this percentage thingy whereby to show him how annoyed I was, I told him I love each of the other Emo fam members 33% each and he's only got 1% HAHAHAA


Juon, Mama shown you this alr, this is for the benefit of Dabian and Didi to view!


Anyway on the day itself Oct 10 2008 I was as usual, LATE. So I smsed the girls but since I grouped emo fam contacts together, I accidentally sent Mama as well (I think at that time they must have been shocked thinking that I knew he was coming LOL)

HOW ON EARTH WOULD I HAVE EXPECTED THEM TO MEET AT 12PM
to get Didi and my present at Taka, buy a chocolate cake and book seats at Fish & Co. AYEE. I came 20 minutes late and on the whole train journey I was smsing Dabian about how we two have to kowtow to Juon like those 7th month festival and the Chinese pray to their ancestors that kind cos we made her wait (Dabian lied that she'd be super late when she was SPYING ON ME IN A CORNER AT ORCHARD MRT!)

I waited and saw this HAWT KIMCHI BOY (korean), a HANDSOME SUBWAY BOY (Amn) and wished for a Sashimi boy (Jap). Once I reached I got anxious and super worried as Juon didnt pick up my calls and I expected her to be there already so I sent her a msg to which SHE LAUGHED AT, TGT WITH MAMA WHILE THEY SAT IN FISH & CO AWAITING OUR ARRIVAL =.="

"Juon! Where are you? I can't see you! Hurry convert to human form!" I was really worried okay :(

An old man from China was quite agitated about some stuff and he wanted to curse in English but out came 法客 (the f word) and 去吧 (CB) and I couldn't. stop. giggling. hahahaa!! Then I looked up and saw this boy who looked like Jon and I STARED. In my mind there was a red alert sign dink dink dink and it went "OMG he looks familiar! OMG OMG he's walking here!!" I'm sorry, but even thoughts in a Lit student's mind rhymes as well :/ I tried to back away but behind me was the wall. So I hurry SOS-ed Dabian and spoke to her in a stoned voice "Dabian. Didi come already. NI ZAI NA LI?!"

I was damn anxious cos I thought we havent bought his present and how are we gonna buy his gift, where to get his gift, should we split up to get his gift and the rest to entertain him, who should go buy the gift since I'm a sotong and I'll surely get lost in town etc etc. I BROUGHT SCISSORS AND SCOTCHTAPE AND COLOURED PENS AND CARD LOR! HMPF. Dabian even pulled me to one corner and said "Eh Emo, I think I told him the wrong time lehh" and so, I JAW DROPPED and told her "orh hor, now you're the one to kowtow to me and Juon alrd!" MALU.

Dabian walked us to Paragon and we freakingg squealed while jaywalking with Didi so calm throughout the whole time since at the MRT station. Dabian called Juon and she told us we were to meet Juon who WENT TO EAT LUNCH WITH HER FRIEND COS WE WERE LATE. So Juon, I told Dabian now you should be the one to kowtow to us since you're the latest and you want us to go pick you up OOPS. Walked one big round and spotted Juon in Fish & Co. Just randomly noticed a guy sitting beside her and my mind went "ORH HOR, JUON SCANDALOUS! dui bu qi *he-shall-not-be-named*!" then just stopped cos I didnt want to interrupt she and her friend while they're having lunch still. Dabian just raved like a mad monkey and led us in, so Didi and I SQUEEZED through the side of the restaurant.

LO & BEHOLD. IT WAS MAMA SITTING THERE LUH. TOTALLY WTH?! bluffed me okay. And I didnt notice the cake until I was about to sit down cos MY JAW REALLY DROPPED and my mouth was really open the whole way from going in to sitting down. IT WAS THAAAT SHOCKING. So the whole truth unraveled and as usual I was whining and whining about how cheated I felt. By the way, the waitress who attended to us looked like the J2 Sonya (??) from Fencing. Yuheng's eyecandy for the day.




Supposed to blow the candles TOGETHER but a huff and a puff and I blew the candles out before Jon did, he just remained stagnant there so I had to do the honours right. Right right right?

Fish & Co has this birthday thingy, whereby the birthday boy/girl has to stand on the chair (and even though I whined that I was wearing skirt they DONT CARE, you still gotta do it :/) and FREAAAK. That Fish & Co was like open area so people from outside and in other shops were looking at us can OMGG.




Show you what the Fish & Co Crew did! They are SUPER DAMN CUTE, cos they asked for our names and we gave them Emo and Didi but they didnt sing two birthday songs, just one and they combined our nicknames into "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO... BABIES!~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUU!~"
